Abstract
All the results for the correct constitution have been summarised in Table IX. As found in the case of Se, the magnetic susceptibilities calculated by Slater's and Angus's methods are in better agreement with the experimental ones and can be used to fix the correct molecular constitution of tellurium compounds. It may be remarked here that in the case of organometallic compounds there is a better agreement between the calculated and experimental values than in the case of inorganic compounds. This finding is in agreement with the view put forward by Pascal and other workers.
