Abstract
Models, containing symmetric dimeric peptide units as the recognition systems, constructed by attaching di, tri and tetra peptide units at the ω-NH2 end of the duplex termini in (Lys)2Cu, bind to DNA in a sequence specific manner and effect scission at specific sites.
