Abstract
Submicrometer spherical lenses and lens arrays are fabricated by freeing the dewetting of ultrathin (< 100 nm) polymer films from interfacial tension limitation and by harnessing the self-organization of films. The lens-size is continuously tunable from 200 nm to few tens of micrometers with contact angles ranging from 30° – 150°.
