Abstract
The synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of a number of 3-substituted 2,3,4,4a,5,6-hexahydro-1(H)-pyrazino are reported. Them compounds in general show hypotensive and adrenergic-receptor blocking activity. The hypotensive activity is particularly marked in 3-β-phenethy and 3-y-(p-fiuorobenxoy1)propy1-2,3,4,4a,5,6-hexahydrod-1(H)pyrazino[1,2-a]quinolines.
