Abstract
Rhododendron callimorphum Balf. f. and W.W. Sm. (Ericaceae), a taxon so far known ITom China, is described here as a new record to India from Arunachal Pradesh. Two varieties are known under this species. The Indian specimens belong to typical variety (var. callimorphum). A detailed description, photograph and distribution map are provided for its easy identification.
