Abstract
The effects of the four additional impedances, viz. (I) source impedance, (II) an impedance placed between the two: three-element Junctions, (iii) a bridging impedance and (iv). load impedance, on the shape of the transmission characteristic of a parallel-T RC network, have been analysed. Methods of obtaining high or low pass characteristics, better than those obtainable with RC ladder networks, are discussed. A circuit connection for a band stop filter, whose selectivity is directly proportional to the gain of an amplifier, and hence can be adjusted to very high values; is also discussed.
