Abstract
Under very mild processing conditions could be made from dried leaves of Kopisia fruticosa (KER.) A. DC isolation., Isokopsin Decarbomethoxy-Kopsin next, and Fruticosin Fruticosamin, and Decarbomethoxy-kopsin. Fruticosin and Fruticosamin are isomers of formula C 22 H 24 O 4 N 2 and can be mutually transformed into each other, the conjugated system and the nature of the functional groups of these two alkaloids were clarified ä rt.
