Abstract
Adsorption of copper nitrate from aqueous solution on to silica gel at different concentrations and temperatures has been investigated. Effect of precalcination temperature of silica gel and that of pH of the solution on the adsorption have also been studied. The adsorption was due to ion exchange and followed the Freundlich isotherm.
