Abstract
We have calculated the synthetic spectra of the Δv = + 1 sequence of the C2 Swan system based on resonance-fluorescence statistical-equilibrium calculations. The synthetic profile is shown to be in good agreement with the high-resolution spectra of Lambert and Danks on comet West.
