Abstract
The Collider Detector at Fermilab is currently studying 1.8 TeV p̅ p interactions at the Fermilab Tevatron. This paper describes the design and construction of the detector's tracking chambers in the light of the measurement requirements dictated by physics goals. The chambers described are the Forward Tracking Chamber, the Central Tracking Chamber, the Central Drift Tubes, and the Vertex Time Projection Chamber.
