Abstract
The T sub g-composition curve for the polymer blend system polymethyl acrylate and polyvinyl acetate was found to contain a cusp. A reexamination of the published T sub g data for several polymer blend systems revealed that such cusps in the T sub g-composition curves could be quite common. The occurrence of a cusp may also be theoretically justified on the basis of the iso-free volume theory with the modification suggested by Kovacs.
