Abstract
Enchodelium asaccatum n.sp. from the rhizosphere of Carica papaya, Discomyctus elongatus n.sp. from the rhizosphere of Crocus sp. Calolaimus parapapillatus n.sp. from the rhizosphere of Oryza sativa, Lindseyus indicus n.sp. from the rhizosphere of O. sativa, and Mylodiscus nanus from the rhizosphere of unidentified wild plants, all from Manipur, India, are described and figured. The genera Lindseyus and Mylodiscus are new records from India. E. asaccatum resembles E. thornei and E. angolense but differs in having a longer odontostyle, posterior vulva, cuticularized pieces in the vagina, a shorter tail and in the absence of an anterior uterine sac. D. elongatus resembles D. longicaudatus and D. cephalatus but differs in having a more prominent labial disc, anterior vulva, faintly cuticularized pieces in the vagina and a long filiform tail. C. parapapillatus resembles C. ditlevseni and C. papillatus but differs in having a longer odontostyle, posterior vulva, size of spicules and lateral guiding pieces, and in the number (12) of ventro-median supplements. L. indicus resembles L. costatus but differs in the nature of the lip region, in having a longer odontostyle but smaller odontophore and cardia, in the shape and size of the spicules and lateral guiding pieces, and in the number (9 or 10) of ventro-median supplements.
