Abstract
This paper reports on four species of the genus discovered in India Enchodelus Thorne, 1939, namely: E. macrodorus (De Man, 1880), from which a female was found standing near the front vulva (37%); longidens E. n sp. with conical, curved ventrad and a spiked tail length of 40 μ E. constrictus n sp. with the same tail shape, spine length 23-24μand conspicuous constriction between oviduct and uterus, and E. zonatus n.sp., Hemizonid with straight-tapered tail and very striking.. E. macrodoroides (Steiner, 1914) is regarded as a species inquirenda.
