Abstract
We study orbits of the natural action of SL(n, Z)+ (the semigroup of nonnegative integral n×n matrices with determinant 1) on Rn and apply the results to finding positive integral solutions to linear Diophantine inequalities. The proofs are based on elementary arguments.
