Abstract
A simple e-convergence technique is applied to obtain accurate estimates of critical temperatures and critical exponents of a few two- and three-dimensional Ising models. When applied to the virial series for hard spheres and hard discs, this method predicts a divergence of the equation-of-state at the density of closest packing.
