Abstract

Advantages of heteronuc1ear two- and three-dimensional NMR experiments in obtaining better dispersion of peaks in spectra of large protein molecules have been described. The basic experimental techniques have been qualitatively presented and their application to a protein of 160 amino acid residues has been described. Several residue-type specific signals have been identified. The analysis ot three-dimensional 13C resolved 1H-1H TOCSY spectra for spin system identifications has been described in some detail.
