Abstract

Exact results for the nonequilibrium phase transition in a coherently driven system interacting with a broad band squeezed radiation are presented. This system is shown to generate a new class of states satisfying Heisenberg equality ΔSjΔSy=½ (Sz). For no drive, the possibility of pairwise excitation of atoms is shown. An important new feature of the atomic occupation probabilities is their oscillatory character.
