Abstract

In an experimental work on the influence of a spermine-additive for human seminal plasma (1.5-3.0 mM) on carbohydrate metabolism Tet reported. To use sperm samples came from fertile persons. For the enzyme-aktiyittsbestimmungen (maltase, amylase) was freed each sperm sample from spermatozoa by centrifugation (800 g/30 min.) The seminal plasma was dialyzed for 24 h at 4 ° C against distilled water. In addition, the Fructoseutilisation and the protein content was determined. The Maltaseaktivitt increased under Sperminzusatz, whrend without the hundred Amylase activity under the same experimental conditions remained. The Fructoseutilisation (Fructolyse) fell in Sperminzusatz. Possible Erklrung for this effect is discussed that spermine transport of fructose by the mem-branes of spermatozoa-Suger prevented. For this purpose, appropriate investigations should be undertaken.
