Abstract
Transference numbers of silver perchlorate have been measured in DMF at 25 ° by the modified Hittorf's method. The accurate ionic conductance of perchlorate ion has been calculated by combining the limiting transference number of perchlorate ion with the limiting equivalent conductance (Λ0) of silver perchlorate. Ionic conductances and solvation numbers of some other ions are also reported.
