Abstract
The theoretical power spectrum of velocity fields, calculated at the solar photosphere using the superposition of unstable linear convective eigenmodes in the convection zone, displays the mesogranular peak besides the peaks corresponding to granulation and supergranulation. The length-scale associated with the three distinct peaks are in reasonable accord with observations.
