Abstract

Ibn Sina (A.D. 980-1038; A.H. 370-428) is a great name in the history of science. Known mainly as a philosopher, Ibn Sina made important contributions also to logic, sociology, literature, poetry, etc., but his contribution to science is no less inferior to that in other branches. Here an attempt has been made to assess his contributions to science through the Indian perspective.
