Abstract
Diglycine strontium chloride trihydrate, (NH2CH2COOH)2·SrCl2· 3H20, crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbcn with unit-cell dimenstions a = 16-00, b = 9.26, c = 8.25 Å and Z =4. The crystals of diglycine calcium chloride tetrahydrate, (NH2CH2COOH)2·CaCl2·4H20, are monoclinic, space group P21/c, with unit-cell dimensions a = 13.01, b = 6.794, c = 15.375 Å, β = 91°24' and Z = 4.
