Abstract
Binary diffusion coefficients for the Kr-CO and Kr-NO systems have been measured in the temperature range 1 to 46°C by the two-bulb technique of Ney and Armistead using radioactive Kr85 as tracer. Unlike interaction parameters have been obtained on the Lennard-Jones (12:6) model from the observed D12 values and compared with those obtained from the combination rules and the force constants of CO and NO from viscosity as well as from B(T) data. It has been observed that the weakly polar gases CO and NO can safely be treated as nonpolar because of their small dipole moments.
