Abstract
A simple method to suppress the sidebands in magic angle sample spinning experiments in solid state nuclear magnetic resonance is suggested. The suppression is achieved by signal averaging of experiments having different spinning speeds rather than a constant one as is usually done. The spinning speed is varied by an automated program and can be implemented in any of the modern spectrometers that have computer control of the spinning speed.
