Abstract
Expressions for the anomalies in the components of the gyrotropic tensor below and above the transition temperature have been derived for a ferroelectric phase transition for crystals of the type KDP. Gyrotropic anomaly in the constants d642 or d651 can lead to rotary activity of the shear waves propagating along the z-axis of the crystal.
