Abstract
A self-contained microscopic theory of the dielectric relaxation of binary dipolar liquids is presented. The theory properly includes the inertial and non-Markovian effects and is free of adjustable parameters. Detailed comparisons are made with computer simulation results for binary mixtures of Stockmayer fluids and the theoretical predictions are found to be in good agreement with the results of computer simulations.
