Abstract

151Eu-Mössbauer investigations have been made on Eu(Cu1−xAux)2Si2 (x=0, 0.1, 0.15, 0.20) as a function of temperature. Introduction of gold in the matrix not only produces significant variations in the isomer shift but also leads to a slowing down of valence fluctuations.
