Abstract
Fourier path integral Monte Carlo simulations are used to demonstrate that in isotopically mixed clusters mass differences can lead to a purely quantum analog of classical binary phase separation. A parametric multistage sampling method is developed to simulate such systems, and results are presented for the strongly quantum mechanical p-H2/o-D2 and the quasiclassical 20Ne/22Ne binary clusters.
