Abstract
Bakuchiol methyl ether cyclizes on acid catalysis to give two major products, which have been suitably correlated. Stereochemistry of these products in relation to the preferred conformations of the transition state is discussed. Direct Wolff-Kishner reduction of 'ozonides' is described.
