Abstract
The use of electrometer amplifiers for ultra-low current measurements is briefly reviewed. One important aspect viz. the DC drift due to environmental changes is outlined. A novel feedback technique by which this problem is effectively solved is described and the application of this technique to low-current measurement in general and to space-borne instruments in particular is discussed.
