Abstract
We give an exact procedure for the evaluation of the jacobian of the path transformation x(t) → η (t) where η(τ) = x··(τ) - ƒ Τ0 ds ƒ(τ, s)x(s)ƒ(τ, s) = τ for which the jacobian can be evaluated by another procedure.
