Abstract
Plants with leaf tumours were observed amongst barley plants grown from seeds irradiated with fast neutrons (100 rad, 500 rad). Histological studies were made of these tumours to investigate their origin and structure. The significance of these observations in relation to earlier studies on leaf tumours is discussed.
