Abstract
The berries of the plant Anamirta cocculus afforded picrotin, picrotoxinin, methyl picrotoxate and two new sesquiterpene γ-lactones, dihydroxypicrotoxinin and picrotoxic acid, whose structures were determined by spectroscopic methods.
