Abstract
An account of six post-harvest diseases of papaya caused by Colletotrichum papayae, Ascochyta caricae, Botryodiplodia theobromae, Phytophthora parasitica, Rhizopus stolonifer, and Trichothecium roseum is given. Diseases incited by Botryodiplodia theobromae and Phytopthora parasitica are described from India for the first time.
