Abstract
Vacuum averages of quantized fields in the Bertotti-Robinson space-time are calculated. It is shown that the Bertotti-Robinson space-time is a self-consistent solution of the Einstein equation with one-loop quantum-gravitational corrections induced by fields of large mass.
