Abstract
The results of magnetic susceptibility and electrical resistance measurements on the pseudoternary solid solution Ce1−xLaxCu3Ga2 are presented. The results, besides showing that CeCu3Ga2 is an incoherent Kondo lattice, indicate the existence of a competition between magnetism and nonmagnetism in this system.
