Abstract
We numerically study the dynamics of an Lx × Ly Josephson array model of resistively shunted noncapacitive junctions on a lattice driven by a nonuniform d.c. current Ix(y) = Imax - (ΔI)y/Ly with ΔI = Imax - Imin. Regions of periodicity, quasi-periodicity and nonuniform chaos are found in the ΔI vs. Imax plane. The time behaviour of voltages and motion of vortices are monitored and found to be correlated.
