Abstract
The way in which ƒoF2 near noon varies with magnetic activity at different epochs of solar activity is studied. In the American zone, the normal equatorial increase in noon ƒoF2 for disturbed days is replaced by a decrease in ƒoF2 during the December solstice (local summer) of years with large solar and magnetic activity.
