Abstract
We study the limits on the elements of the neutrino mixing matrix consistent with neutrinoless double beta decay and the neutrino oscillation experiments as a function of the mixing probability (x) of νe with the 17 keV neutrino. We considered all x between 0.003 and 0.03, and found that x>0.015 is not allowed. Stringent limits on mνμ (when mνmu>mντ) and the mass difference (mνμ−mντ) (when νμ and ντ form a pseudo-Dirac particle) are found. Allowed values of the various mixing angles are obtained as function of x, when νe, νμ and ντ are nondegenerate Majorana neutrinos.
