Abstract
Sternheimer quadrupole shielding-antishielding factors γ(r) are reported for the positive ions of B3+, Al3+, Ca2+ and Sc3+ for the first time. The trends in γ(r) within the isoelectronic series corresponding to He, Ne and Ar atoms, respectively, are discussed by combining the present results with those reported earlier.
