Abstract
The state susceptibility (X) and the transition temperature (Tc) of a disordered displacive system has been calculated applying the replica trick (for configurational averaging) and using mean field type approximations (for thermal averaging). The resulting expression for Tc, exhibiting a non-linear dependence on the impurity concentration (c), has been tried to fit with the experimental observation of variation of Tc with c for the solid solution tri-sarcosine calcium chloride1-c bromidec.
