Abstract
Excess volumes VE for tetrachloroethylene + benzene, + toluene, + ρ-xylene, + cyclohexane and + carbon tetrachloride have been measured dilatometrically at 303.15 K. VE was found to be positive for tetrachloroethylene + benzene, + toluene, + cyclohexane, and negative for tetrachloroethylene + ρ-xylene. For tetrachloroethylene + carbon tetrachloride the VE is found to be positive at low mole fractions of C2Cl4 and negative at high mole fractions.
