Abstract

Changes in the oxygen stoichiometry as well as the La:Ba ratio in the La4−xBa1+xCu5O13+δ family bring about metal-insulator transitions. The cross over from the metallic to the semiconducting behaviour occurs around 3×10−3 ohm.cm.
