Abstract

The possibility that the electromagnetic current may have a part transforming like I=2, with C=−1, in addition to the usual I=0 and I=1 parts is considered. It is argued that there is no evidence at present to exclude such a hypothesis. Some consequences and tests of the hypothesis are discussed.
