Abstract

Resistivity and magnetoresistance measurement have been made on A15 V3X (X=Ga, Au, and Pt) compounds. The low-temperature resistivity ρ(T) (Tc<T<40 K) of V3Ga and V3Au shows a T2 dependence whereas that of V3Pt exhibits a T3 dependence. The magnetoresistance of V3Ga and V3Pt varies as H1.6 and that of V3Au shows a linear field dependence. These results are analyzed in terms of existing theories.
