Abstract
During 59-70 hours after the July 10, 1959, flare, the differential energy spectra of M nuclei (6 ≤ Z ≤ 9) and H nuclei (Z ≥ 10) were measured in the energy intervals 150-500 and 200-500 Mev/nucleon, respectively. Also the integral flux of H nuclei of energy >500 Mev/nucleon was measured. It is concluded that during this period the solar M-nuclei flux was ≤0.9 ± 0.3 per cent of solar α-particle flux in the energy interval 150-200 Mev/nucleon; and the solar H-nuclei flux of energy 200-300 Mev/nucleon was zero or undetectable.
