Abstract

Using a color-dependent harmonic-oscillator quark-quark interaction incorporating the saturation property at the three-quark 3q level and of the same strength as provides the baryonic M2 spectrum, a six-quark wave function, antisymmetric with regard to both q↔q and 3q↔3q cluster interchanges, is constructed as an explicit solution of a six-body Schrödinger equation. Applications to elastic and deep-inelastic e-d scattering reveal good agreement with the data without adjustable parameters.
