Abstract

Inclusive production of P-mesons in e+e-→HX(H=qq̅ hadron) is considered as a quark-parton fragmentation process in e+e-→Hqq̅, and studied in a QCD-motivated Bethe-Salpeter (BS) model for a high energy test of this non-perturbative formalism which has already provided an excellent description of hadron spectra (light and heavy). The calculated P-meson fragmentation functions are in excellent agreement with the latest data on inclusive π, K production in e+e- collisions with no adjustable parameters; the basic constants of the model having already been determined by the spectra.
