Abstract
We study the gluino gluon (g˜g) and hybrino (g˜qq̅) states in a Bethe-Salpeter model of confinement, characterized by a reduced spring constant and quark mass, which provides an excellent description of masses and couplings of qq̅ and qqq hadrons. Our predictions for g˜g spectrum are completely different from the bag model results. Our model has the advantage that (i) in the mg→0 limit, the g˜g mass spectrum is smoothly connected to that for mq=0, (ii) the effect of the center-of-mass motion is automatically removed. Properties of these new hadrons are discussed from the point of view of possible experimental detection.
