Abstract
Quantum oscillations have been observed in the thermal conductance of GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructures containing 2D electron systems. These oscillations arise from the coupling of the lattice phonons to the electrons and represent a new tool for examining the density of states and electron-phonon interactions in these 2D systems.
